Northern Indiana Community Foundation awards grant to Fulton County EMA & Lutheran EMS
The Northern Indiana Community Foundation awards grant to Fulton County EMA & Lutheran EMS. The monies will be used to elevate cardiac care for the patients and visitors of Fulton County by purchasing a Lucas 3 Chest Compression System.
This cutting-edge technology was purchased with a joint effort between the Fulton Co EMA, Lutheran EMS and the Northern Indiana Community Foundation. We would also like to recognize the numerous supporters who make donations to the foundation.
Training will begin shortly to get the Lucas 3 in-service.
This device will assist emergency responders when faced with a patient suffering from cardiac arrest. The device can perform perfect CPR nearly endlessly and overcome the challenges a responder faces of doing CPR for 30-45 minutes. This device will be placed strategically on a Lutheran EMS ambulance in the Fulton County Service area.
