KCH Donates to EMS

KCH PicKCH recently donated $3,500 to Multi-Township EMS to sponsor the purchase of 1,000 ‘Friends and Family Adult/Child CPR Anytime’ kits. Multi-Township EMS started ‘One Heart Program’ to focus on the importance of learning cardiopulmonary resuscitation and providing educational tools for all age groups. Correctly performing CPR can increase cardiac arrest survival rates. These kits are available for community members so that they can participate in a learning program that teaches core cardiopulmonary resuscitation skills in 20 minutes using a personal education kit. For further information about the training program, call 574-269-1975.
